Former Club Presidents reminisce about tumultuous years 6:30 pm, March 28

The National Press Club's three most senior former presidents will reminisce and tell anecdotes about the tumultuous years when they led the organization in a free event, "Tales from the Tap Room," at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, in the Holeman Lounge.

John Cosgrove was president in 1961, the year of President John Kennedy's Camelot but also the Bay of Pigs and intensified U.S.-Soviet tension. Allan Cromley was president in 1968, a time of assassinations, protests, political upheaval and the Washington riots. And Don Larrabee was president in 1973, the year the Watergate scandal exploded.
