Frank Sesno headlines Communicators 'Legends' dinner, Oct. 25

Join the National Press Club Communicators Team for a memorable evening with Frank Sesno, an Emmy Award-winner and communications education leader, on Tuesday, Oct. 25 with a 6:30 p.m. cash bar and 7 p.m. dinner in the Zenger Room.

Sesno has more than 30 years of reporting experience around the world, including as an anchor, talk show host, White House correspondent, and Washington bureau chief at CNN. He is the author of “Ask More: The Power Of Questions To Open Doors, Uncover Solutions, And Spark Change,” drawing upon a career interviewing five U.S. presidents and thousands of political, business and civic leaders, including Hillary Clinton, Bill Gates and Walter Cronkite.

Sesno served as director of the George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs for 11 years and now serves as director of strategic initiatives. He launched Planet Forward at GW in 2009 to cultivate student reporting and storytelling on sustainability issues.

Sesno will reminisce on his career with attendees, reflecting on lessons learned and the most pressing challenges he thinks communicators must address.
