Free one-day training: Understanding and reporting on mental health and substance abuse, July 25
The National Press Foundation will host a free one-day workshop on Tuesday, July 25, for journalists about what’s at stake on mental health and substance abuse issues in the current political landscape.
The program will cover an overview of 40 years of behavioral health advances; implications of reforms under consideration; tensions between payers and providers; language and stigma/discrimination; and ways to incorporate solutions journalism into your work.
