Free Wharton School seminar in Washington, 8:30 am March 4

The Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists will present a special free one-day seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 4 in Washington.

The event will be held at the law office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, 1111 Pennsylvania Avenue. The sessions are complimentary but space is limited. Registration is required.

Breakfast, lunch and course materials are provided at no cost. A limited number of Southwest Airlines travel scholarships are also available for full-time West Coast reporters.

Faculty scheduled to present include Scott Harrington, Wharton professor of healthcare management and insurance and risk management, and Kent Smetters, professor of business economics and public policy. They will discuss the Affordable Care Act and the economic outlook, long-term risks, and a framework for policy reform, respectively.
