Get LinkedIn on Tuesday, June 7 at communications workshop

OK. You’ve added your picture to your LinkedIn profile, and taken your accomplishments from plain vanilla to something you’re proud to call your own.

Now what? How do you find the connections that will help others find you? And once you do that, how do you leverage those groups to increase your visibility in your profession? What does it mean to give or get a recommendation, and just exactly how do you do that? What else do I need to know about this important networking tool?

The second of three workshops on new media presented by the Communications & Marketing Committee will take place in the Zenger Room on Tuesday, June 7th at 8:30 a.m. Club member Anthony Shop will present “Getting Hands On With LinkedIn” to demonstrate how to get optimum value for yourself and your personal brand on LinkedIn.

Please bring your laptop to make the most of this session, and of course, sign up for LinkedIn in advance by clicking here. Seating is limited.

To get the member discount — the workshop which starts with a continental breakfast at 8 AM is priced at on $25 for NPC members — please use “npcmember” as the code.
