Get PR Smart Workshop on Online Videos, 10 am July 30

Using online videos to communicate to the public and policymakers will be the subject of a seminar at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, in the Murrow Room. The cost for the 90-minute session in the "Get PR Smart" series is $45 for members and $55 for non-members.

Topics include: The four P’s of a successful online video -- preparation, production, posting and promotion; updates on the latest online video technologies and platforms; rules for managing video production on any budget; and tips on how to make your video fit your audience.

The series will cover a variety of topics, including how social media has changed the way reporters, sources, and communication professionals interact. It will also focus on learning how to use new, inexpensive technologies to get a client's message in front of the right audience.
