Going to Miami? Or Brussels? Or perhaps New Zealand? There's a Club for you!

The Board of Governors approved reciprocal club relationships with three clubs – the Bankers Club of Miami, Fla., the National Press Club of Wellington, New Zealand and the Brussels Press Club Europe.

The Bankers Club (http://www.thebankersclub.com/) provides a range of services similar to those provided by the National Press Club. Its lunch and dinner menus provide an upscale dining experience.

The 430-member National Press Club of New Zealand (http://www.nationalpressclub.org.nz/) Wellington, New Zealand) operates out of a Wellington hotel in which they are extended the use of 20 rooms for overnight accommodations, fitness center, business center and banquet/room rental services. They club hosts a number of speakers similar to our newsmaker series.

The Press Club Brussels Europe (http://brusselspressclub.eu/) provides a social and business meeting place for professional journalists in Brussels, and, like our National Press Club, hosts press conferences and public debates. There’s a self-service bar and lounge area, coffee and croissants for early birds, a variety of European newspapers and “revue de presse.”

Reciprocal clubs are an important part of your National Press Club membership. They provide a welcoming “home away from home” when traveling. Some have hotel rooms for members and guests. For a list of NPC reciprocal clubs, click here (login required).
