Guthrie to be inducted in Special Libraries Association Hall of Fame

Larry Guthrie, 21-year member of the National Press Club, is being inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Special Libraries Association at their annual conference in Phoenix in June. He has been a law librarian at the firm Covington & Burling for 22 years.

He serves on the History and Heritage Committee of the Club and was on the committee that published Sachmo at the National Press Club. He is a member of the National Writers Union as a freelance journalist.

Originally from Oklahoma, he has written about Woody Guthrie for This Land Press, the Tulsa World; and also in The New York Times. He has also written a book chapter and articles about medieval library cataloging and librarianship overall.
