Hamrick to Launch 'Dinner with the President' Series
Later this month, National Press Club President Mark Hamrick will begin a series of meetings with members titled "Dinner with the President."
The first one, with a cross-section of members selected and invited by the Membership Department, will be in the McClendon Room of The Reliable Source.
The program builds on an effort begun by then-NPC President Jerry Zremski, who hosted lunches with members to gather their thoughts and suggestions about Club operations and activities.
This year, some dinners will be invitation-only, while others will be open to a limited number of members who are interested in attending.
Hamrick says he plans to hold a number of dinners and lunches aimed at ensuring Club membership continues to provide excellent value, while also looking into new ways of attracting new members.
