Help Wanted: Turkish News Agency Seeks Entry-Level Producer

The Washington office of Ihlas News Agency is currently looking for a producer/journalist.

IHA is a Turkish news agency with its headquarters in Istanbul. The Washington office is located at the National Press Building.

We are looking for an energetic person, with great interest in international affairs and is curious about the technical aspects of news coverage.

The ideal candidate would be passionate about news, comfortable in working with an international team but would also be self-motivated and able to work independently.

The job definition includes but is not limited to pitching story ideas, production of live broadcast coverage, credential applications, and preparing news packages.

Knowledge of using a camera and editing is a plus. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

This is an entry-level position.
