How to File a Last-Minute Registration for July 17 5K

Last-minute registration for individuals and teams to participate in the Beat the Deadline 5K on Saturday, July 17, can be submitted by fax or in person. Online registration is closed. To fax, print the form at www.press.org/5K and fax to 202-662-7537 or 202-662-7569. In-person registration and packet-pickup is from noon to 7 p.m.at the Club and before the race begins.

The race starts at 8 a.m. P90X fitness developer Tony Horton will conduct a warmup at 7:45 a.m. On-site registration tables open at 6:45 a.m. by the main stage.

Cash prizes and random prizes will be awarded, and a continental breakfast will be served after the race.

Well-known figures participating in the race include Luke Russert of NBC, Jill Dougherty of CNN, Eleanor Clift of Newsweek, ABC's Jon Karl and Rick Klein, Washington Post' Misfits Vicky Hallett and Lenny Bernstein, Kate Michael of K Street Kate, WJLA's Courtney Robinson, Rep. Shelly Moore Capito and author Kathleen Koch.

Race proceeds support the training and scholarship programs of the Club's non-profit Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library. To support the programs without breaking a sweat, register for the race even if you can't attend.
