This is just one of the many fascinating topics members explore when developing their oratory skills. You also have a chance to create “mini speeches” when you respond to fun – or serious – prompts.

If you want to develop critical thinking – and speaking – then be the one who takes the lectern to provide two-to-three minutes of feedback to the speaker. Toastmasters provides a supportive and fun environment to hone your public speaking talents and develop confidence.

If you’ve been wanting to put a new spin on your language, come check us out. The next meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, in the McClendon Room.

The NPC Toastmasters Club meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. There is no charge to visit. Membership fees are about $130 per year.
