Intern at the U.S. Energy Information Administration communications office

Full-time communications summer interns are needed to support our work with the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s award-winning Office of Communications. We are looking for undergraduate or graduate students majoring in communications, public affairs, graphic design/film/media arts, or web design/development.

Duties may include:
--Write and/or edit articles, stories, copy, and content with a clear understanding of tone, audience, and readability
--Develop, edit, and/or maintain web pages and web applications
--Create and post social media content; help promote EIA’s social media presence
--Conduct audience / user research and analysis to include web traffic analysis, one-on-one interviews, focus groups, usability testing, surveys, campaign analysis, contextual inquiry, etc.
--Produce/implement digital videos, podcasts, webinars, audio slide shows, e-learning modules, etc. for both external and internal audiences
--Create compelling visuals, to include infographics, data visualizations, illustrations, photography manipulation, for website pages and diverse marketing collateral
--Support event planning and implementation.
