Jan. 20 events: Reserve your filing center and restaurant seat; PMI Parking closed

An expanded filing center for working journalists, the Reliable Source, and the Fourth Estate will be open on Inauguration Day, Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, for National Press Club members and guests. But you must reserve your seat ahead of time to access the building.

Due to the heightened security surrounding inaugural events in the immediate area, the Club is open but the entire building will be on lock-down. When you arrive on Friday, please use the 14th St entrance and have your membership card or photo ID available for access.

Here are other important details:

· The PMI Parking Garage at 1325 G St NW will be closed and there are a lot of street closures in the area. To see a map showing the security restrictions in place, click here. Please monitor this site and media reports for any additional security changes.
· To use our expanded filing center with charging stations and dedicated wi-fi, please register with Suzanne Struglinski at [email protected] or call 202-662-7516. There is $25 fee for non-members to use this space.
· To make Reliable Source reservations, please e-mail [email protected] or call 202-662-7443. The Inaugural Watch Party starts at noon with a special buffet and specialty drinks to watch President-elect Donald Trump take the oath of office.

Dessert: Red (Cherry) White (Apple) and Blue (Berry) American pie, served warm with vanilla ice cream.
