Job Opportunity: Guidewell Financial Solutions seeks public relations specialist

Guidewell Financial Solutions, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Catonsville, MD, seeks a full-time public relations specialist. The specialist will work directly with the agency's leadership team and will be responsible for developing and implementing its communications strategy and objectives, as well as completing a broad range of public relations activities. This is a consultant position.

Qualified candidates will have: strong writing skills and a proven track record creating effective press releases and other communication outreach tools; active involvement with media and news sources within the Baltimore-DC-Delaware corridor; an ability to identify and prepare staff members for print and broadcast interviews; knowledge and experience creating marketing and communication strategies, and expertise devising and employing virtual campaigns across a variety of social media platforms.
