Korea expert to discuss current situation on Korean Peninsula at Friday talk

Former U.S. Ambassador to the Six-Party Talks with North Korea, Joseph R. DeTrani, will discuss the volatile situation on the Korean Peninsula at a luncheon meeting of the National Press Club's American Legion Post 20 at noon on Friday, April 28, in the McClendon Room. The speaker portion of the meeting is open to all Club members.

DeTrani also has served as U.S. Representative to the Korea Energy Development Organization, Intelligence Community Mission Manager for North Korea, Senior Advisor to the Director of National Intelligence and Director of the National Counterproliferation Center. He is president of Daniel Morgan Academy, a Washington-based national security graduate school, and a Club member.
