Latest in Club's podcast series features recent Ken Burns luncheon

Filmmaker Ken Burns, who spoke at the National Press Club on September 15, is featured in the latest edition of Update-1, the National Press Club podcast.

Burns’ documentaries and mini-series have included “The National Parks: America's Best Idea;” “Not for Ourselves Alone: The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton & Susan B. Anthony;” and “The War.” At a recent Club luncheon, he discussed his newest project, the PBS documentary series “The Roosevelts: An Intimate History,” a seven-part, 14-hour film that spans more than 100 years in the lives of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor.

Burns previously spoke at the Club on April 12, 2013, where he discussed his film, “The Central Park Five,” and was honored with a National Press Club membership.
