Law invites members to see performance by award-winning actress on February 3

National Press Club member Janice Law invites other NPC members to a performance by Obie Award-winning actress Brenda Currin at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 3 in the McClendon Room.

The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are necessary.

Currin plans to perform dramatic portions of her one-woman show about Pulitzer-Prize writer Eudora Welty.

The actress’ appearance is sponsored by the American Women Writers National Museum, founded by Law. The theatrical performance will also be a fourth anniversary celebration of AWWNM. The museum's mission is to honor and showcase America’s premier women writers.

Currin’s film credits include: "In Cold Blood" and "The World According to Garp". Her stage work includes "Three Penny Opera", and "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You".
