Learn about library services, meet Journalism Institute staff at open house, Oct. 18

The National Press Club Journalism Institute staff will host an open house from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18. 

Come by the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library to say hello to the new  Institute staff and learn about the research resources available to Club members with your membership. 

The open house is timed to lead up to the start of the Club’s planned “Bubbly with the Board,” which will take place from 6:30 p.m.to 8 p.m. the same evening. Feel free to grab a beverage from the Reliable Source before you visit the Library for an informal meet-and-greet with the NPCJI team, then head up for the Club’s planned reception.

There are no reservations necessary for the NPCJI open house. I if you plan to attend "Bubbly with the Board," please make a reservation here. 

Institute staff are currently working a hybrid schedule, with staff in their library offices between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. The Institute staff includes Executive Director Beth Francesco, Training Director Bara Vaida, Operations Manager Holly Butcher Grant, and Development Manager Mitch Harle
