Learn how to build Twitter communities, noon April 5

Sarah Heffern, associate director for social media strategy at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will describe how her organization has built a social media community at the next "Get It Online" lunch discussion at noon April 5 in the McClendon Room.

Started in 2011, the #builtheritage Twitter chat draws passionate place-savers from around the world. Th "Get It Online" session will outline the origins of the chat, how it has helped the Trust build connections both on and offline, lessons learned and provide tips on how to start and promote your own Twitter chat.
