Library of Congress official to discuss women writers who have influenced her

National Press Club member Janice Law cordially invites all Club members to a free literary event at noon, Wednesday, March 14, in the McLendon room.

Becky Clark, acting director of the Center for the Book at the Library of Congress, will discuss the American women writers who most influenced her, includng Eudora Welty (1909-2001) and Mary Karr (1955- ) The event is co-sponsored by Law and the nonprofit American Women Writers National Museum, which Law founded and which is a reading partner of the Center for the Book.
