Longtime Club volunteer Marshall Cohen recognized for service to American Scandinavian Association

The American Scandinavian Association awarded longtime Club volunteer Marshall H. Cohen its Henry Hanson Award on May 22 at St. John's Church in Bethesda in recognition of his outstanding service to the association and the Nordic community.

The award, named for one of the ASA's original founders, is presented annually. Cohen is a past president and vice president of ASA and serves currently as an ex officio member of the board of directors.

Cohen founded NPC's Photography Committee, now Photograph Team, and has volunteered his time to photograph Club events for 42 years.
