Love books? Volunteer at the Book Fair, Nov. 2

The National Press Club's 41st annual Book Fair needs volunteers to escort authors, greet customers, hand out bags and help wherever needed when book lovers descend on the ballroom on Friday, Nov. 2.

The book fair runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The volunteer will work either the 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. shift or the 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. shift leaving volunteers plenty of time to do their own shopping.

Volunteers will either be assigned to a section of the room to assist the authors in any way needed or at the entry door to greet people and hand out bags.

Volunteers receive free entry to the event and a drink ticket. You will be given a name tag that gives you entry to the fair.
