Media Monitoring to be Explored at Workshop, 9 am Oct. 29; $45 for Members

The latest techniques and technologies in media monitoring will be the subject of a workshop at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, in the Murrow Room. The cost is $45 for members and $55 for non-members.

As the face of media rapidly evolves, the importance of monitoring your brand’s image has become crucial to engaging audiences. Today’s media monitoring must go beyond traditional press clippings to encompass the communities where conversations take place. Educate yourself on the newest tools being used to effective and inexpensively conduct media monitoring at our upcoming Get PR Smart event.

Chris Battle, Partner at Adfero Group and member of the Club, will discuss what “media” means in today’s environment; what media “monitoring” means in today’s environment; why monitoring is important; why the inclusion of social media is necessary for any program; tactics for monitoring various forms of media; and going beyond raw data – how to interpret the numbers.
