Meet the Club candidates forum scheduled for Monday at noon

The National Press Club's American Legion Post 20 will host its annual candidates forum at a luncheon meeting noon on Monday, Dec. 3, in the McClendon Room.

All candidates are invited to make brief remarks on their qualifications, goals and priorities for next year. Election Day is Dec. 7.

The candidate portion of the meeting is open to all Club members.

Post 20 was founded in 1919 and has been associated with the Club ever since. It was started at the suggestion of World War I Gen. John 'Black Jack' Pershing, who was an associate Club member. Pershing also was instrumental in founding the American Legion.
