Members invited to discussion of first ladies and the media Feb. 12

National Press Club member Janice Law invites Club members to join her for a discussion, staged by the American Women Writers National Museum, on "How Do First Ladies and Media Treat Each Other?" in NPC's McClendon Room at noon Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Featured speaker will be Anita McBride, chief of staff to former First Lady Laura Bush. Sharing the podium with her will be Patricia Krider, executive director of the First Ladies Library, Canton, Ohio, who will present visuals from the library's recent exhibit, "Eyes on First Ladies," which addresses media attention.

The event, free and open to all, is sponsored by the AWWNM, a non-profit founded by Law. The organization is celebrating its second anniversary Feb 12. For more information e-mail: [email protected] or visit here.
