Menu announced for Thursday, Oct. 12 NPC Oktoberfest

National Press Club members and their guests are invited for the annual Oktoberfest buffet and music at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in the Reliable Source.

Music by Die Kleine Kapelle will be performed beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The price is $24 for Club Members and $28 for nonmembers plus tax and gratuity.

The evening menu is listed below. Also German cocktail drinks and seasonal beer on Draft will include Victory Festbier and Märzen Oktoberfest to complement your dinner.

Soup:

Ahrensburger Kohlsuppe, (Cabbage soup with bacon and German curry sauce)

Hot Entrees:

Bratwurst and Knockwurst cooked in beer; potato rolls and mustard on side
Weinersnitchel [Breaded Veal cutlet]
Kohlrouladen [Ground beef stuffed cabbage rolls]

Rotkrautrezept (Red cabbage with red wine and gingerbread seasoning)
