National Press Club to hold moment of silence event today for journalist slain near Orlando

The National Press Club will host a moment of silence at 4 p.m. today for all those who wish to gather in a show of support for Spectrum News 13 journalist Dylan Lyons, 24, who was shot to death while covering a story in Pine Hills, Fla.

Club President Eileen O'Reilly will make brief remarks and lead a moment of silence for Lyons and his injured colleague Jesse Walden, a photojournalist who remains hospitalized in Orlando. 

The event will be live streamed.
