National security expert schedules speech to NPC Post 20 on Thursday, April 21 at Noon

Joseph DeTrani, former president of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and ambassador to the Six-Party Talks with North Korea, plans to discuss security and foreign-policy challenges that will face the next president at a luncheon meeting of National Press Club's American Legion Post 20 on Thursday, April 21, at noon in the McClendon Room. All NPC members are invited to attend the speaker portion of Post 20 meetings.

Ambassador DeTrani's career includes serving as senior advisor to the Director of National Intelligence, director of the National Counter Proliferation Center, and being director of numerous sections of the CIA, including East Asia operations, European operations, public affairs, and the Office of Technical Services. He is a veteran of the Air Force and is currently president of the Daniel Morgan Academy, a graduate school specializing in national security.
