Need advice on writing a book? Club's independent authors group is ready to help

Are you seriously considering writing your first book? Would you like some assistance and guidance from experienced National Press Club members who have written and published their books?

Members of the Club's independent authors group are available to serve as mentors for other Club members who are exploring their publishing options. The mentors can offer help on topics ranging from the marketing and promotion of books to the business aspects of running a publishing house -- and anything in between.

Serious aspiring authors are invited to join the independent author's group at its next meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the McClendon Room. Advance reservations are necessary. Contact Ed Barks at [email protected] to secure yours.
