New membership stickers in the mail

We recently mailed out your 2011 renewal stickers. Please look for them in your mail box and apply the new sticker to your membership card at your earliest convenience.

If you have yet to receive your 2011 sticker, please contact the membership staff by emailing [email protected] or by calling (202) 662-7500 and asking for the membership department.

Your membership card to the National Press Club is an important component of your experience at the Club. First and foremost, it shows the Club staff that you are a member and it helps us get to know you and your name.

It also is the key entrance to all the great members-only events that Club committee chairs and staff work so hard to plan for your benefit. Over the years, you might not have been asked for your card very often, if ever. But in an ongoing effort to improve the members-only experience we are asking you to remember to bring your card to the Club for access to all the wonderful things this Club has to offer.

The Club is a perfect location to host colleagues, friends and out-of-town guests. Should your guest/s arrive before you, please greet them on the 13th floor. If your guests would qualify as Club members, please invite them to join.

We have scheduled exciting programs at the Club and we don’t want you to miss out on any of the upcoming events. Our Luncheon Speaker Series in March will be highlighted with visits from National Public Radio’s Vivian Schiller on March 7 and comedian Harry Shearer on March 14.

The Reliable Source is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 17 and will feature an evening of jazz on March 24 in the Truman Lounge.

To make reservations for any of the events listed above please email [email protected] and indicate the event and the number in your party.

We look forward to an excellent year at the National Press Club. Please let us know if you have any suggestions on how we can build upon your membership experience and help you to maximize the benefits of being a member of the World’s Leading Professional Organization for Journalists.
