Crisis management expert, author, and National Press Club member Edward Segal will share his advice and insights in a virtual program hosted by the Communicators Team via Zoom video conference on Thursday, Aug. 20, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Registration is free for all Club members.
Segal is the author of the recently published “Crisis Ahead: 101 Ways to Prepare for and Bounce Back from Disasters, Scandals, and Other Emergencies." Segal is the former marketing strategies columnist for The Wall Street Journal’s StartUpJournal.com, the author of two public relations handbooks and the host of the new "Crisis Ahead" podcast.
Tom McMahon, a longtime Communicator Team member, will moderate a conversation with Segal about best practices for communicating about and managing a crisis, lessons to be learned from companies in the news that are dealing with a crisis, and how to create effective crisis management plans.
Attendees must register in advance by contacting Tom McMahon at [email protected] to receive a link and password to log into the event. Questions may be submitted in advance or during the conversation.
