NPC Library how-to session, Jan. 23: Using the Bloomberg Terminal

Bloomberg TerminalWhatever subject you’re covering, you have access to real-time breaking news and in-depth research from the Bloomberg Terminal in the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library inside the National Press Club.

John Hughes, senior content editor for the Bloomberg Industry Group and a past president of the Club, will share tips on how to use the Bloomberg Terminal at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. The news and information resource is available at no cost to Club members and is among the various tools available to help your research and reporting.

The training is free for members and $5 for non-members. Registration is encouraged; walk-ins are welcome.

Bloomberg covers news in more than 100 countries, with real-time information on markets, economies, politics and more.

Whether you specialize in a particular industry or are curious about how the terminal can assist you in your work, plan to attend this how-to session — the first of several intended to introduce you to databases and resources available in the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library.

For more information about this training or to pose a question in advance, please email Beth Francesco at [email protected]. Library training is organized by the National Press Club Journalism Institute, the Club’s nonprofit affiliate.
