NPC members get more time to submit photos for exhibit, deadline extended to Aug. 22

The deadline for National Press Club members to submit their photos to be displayed in the Press Club’s lobby during September has been extended until close of business Friday, Aug. 22.

Entries for the 15th Annual NPC Members’ Photo Exhibition must be dropped off in the Club's Membership Office. Each member may submit up to four photos and each photo may not exceed 11x14” (print and mat). All photos must be securely mounted and matted. No photos will be accepted after Friday, Aug. 22.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Club's Photography Committee, is open to all Club members and is not juried. Photos will be hung in the NPC lobby on Wednesday, Aug. 27, after a brief Photo Committee luncheon meeting at noon in the McClendon Room. The photos will be on display until Tuesday, Sept. 30.

A reception, with cash bar, honoring the Club’s photographers will be held from 6:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the NPC's First Amendment lounge. All members and their guests are welcome. Members are encouraged to make dinner reservations that evening at the NPC's Fourth Estate restaurant or the NPC's Reliable Source restaurant.
