NPC's Reliable Source announces summer BBQ buffet menu
The NPC's Reliable Source is celebrating summer by inviting National Press Club members to a Summer BBQ Buffet on Thursday, June 25.
The price of the buffet is $25 for Press Club members and $35 for nonmembers. Please purchase tickets here.
Soup
Tortilla Soup (chicken stock)
Salads:
- Red potato salad with sour cream and devilled eggs
- Roasted red peppers, tomatoes and sweet onions
- Red cabbage buttermilk coleslaw with peanuts
- Cucumber, fresh pea, watermelon and red onion and salad
Entrée:
- Slow roasted Texas beef brisket, sliced to order; sweet and spicy sauce; rolls and cheese on side
- Grilled chicken with black pepper mustard sauce
- Stuffed Chili and Coffee rubbed pork loin with jalapeno lime sauce
- Balsamic and rosemary roasted portobellos, green beans, grapes and pasta
Sides:
- Corn on the cob with honey chipotle butter
- Southern style macaroni and cheese
- Pinto Beans with bacon
Dessert:
- Pecan pie
- Peach cobbler
- Texas longhorn cookies
