Obama's Top Economic Adviser at Sept. 1 Luncheon

Christina Romer, chairwoman of the Council of Economic Advisers, will discuss the economy at a National Press Club luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

Romer will reflect on dealing with an economy on the brink of disaster when President Obama took office, the impact of the economic recovery efforts so far and what’s ahead. Romer will soon leave the White House to return to her academic career.
