Online voting for Club officers, board members opens today

Online voting opened today (Monday, Nov. 30) at 8 a.m. EST and concludes at 3 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 10. Online voting can be completed on a computer, mobile device or tablet. See instructions below.

The Membership Department will also have a computer available in the General Offices, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.if you would like staff assistance.

Absentee paper ballots are available by written request, to be mailed to an individual member’s home address starting Monday, Nov. 30. The final day to request a paper absentee ballot is Friday, Dec. 2. All absentee ballots must be received by 7 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 11.

Members can vote in person at the National Press Club’s 14th floor alcove on Election Day, Friday, Dec. 11, starting at 8 a.m. EST and ending at 7 p.m. EST.

Step-by-step online voting instructions:

• Go to https://eballot4.votenet.com/npc/login.cfm.


• Your username is your membership number.


• Your password is your last name.


• Select the candidates of your choice and hit "Next"


• Click on details to read about each candidate.


• There is a write-in option for each position.

For members completing the Journalist ballot, you must vote for three candidates for the Board of Governors, Journalist Three-Year Term position.
