Orchowski attends 100th anniversary of high school paper she edited

One of the oldest high school newspapers in the country, The Forge of Santa Barbara High School in California, celebrated its 100th birthday last week with a panel of former editors including National Press Club member Peggy Sands Orchowski, Congressional Correspondent for the Hispanic Outlook in Washington D.C.

The panel on journalism past, present and future was held before a packed assembly of students and alumni at the historic high school which continues to offer a print version of the newspaper to honor its long history even though it is produced digitally. A letter of congratulations from Club President Myron Belkind was displayed poster size at the assembly and weekend receptions.
