Guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend will join fellow rock legend Roger Daltrey at a National Press Club luncheon at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the Ballroom. The founders of the English rock band, The Who, will discuss their latest collaboration: "Who Cares –- Teen Cancer America," a non-profit organization serving teenagers and young adults with cancer.

The newly created program is designed to improve the quality of life and outcomes for teens and young adults with cancer by helping hospitals and healthcare professionals establish teen cancer units around the country and by facilitating access to the best possible age-appropriate care and support. The program will be based on the Teenage Cancer Trust model in the United Kingdom, which Daltrey and Townshend have supported for many years.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a Q-and-A session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $19 for Press Club members and $30 for guests of members (Limit 2 guest tickets).
