Photo Committee to hold 'show and tell,' noon Feb. 25

The next meeting of the National Press Club Photography Committee will take place at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the McClendon Room.

There will be no speaker. Instead, after lunch, the meeting will be devoted to a "show and tell" session in which everyone who attends will have the opportunity to show one or two photographs of which they are especially proud and receive comments from other attendees. The idea is to enjoy sharing your work with friends and colleagues and to receive feedback from photo enthusiasts on the committee, pros and amateurs alike.

All Club members can attend. No RSVP is necessary.

Photos of all kinds are welcome. You may bring prints (8x10 or larger, if possible), mounted or unmounted, or digital files (jpegs only, please) on a thumb drive. We will have a laptop and a plasma screen.

If you bring a thumb drive, please make sure it is free of viruses, and put your files in a folder by themselves so that they can be found quickly. While all comments and questions are welcome, we expect that everyone will maintain a positive and constructive tone throughout.

Please note that this is not a contest or exhibit. It's just an opportunity to share and enjoy.
