Photo committee meeting features freelancer Marshall Cohen

Freelance photojournalist Marshall Cohen will speak about his new book, Denmark: A Photographer's Odyssey, at the next meeting of the Club's Photography Committee, scheduled for noon on Wednesday, May 18, in the McClendon Room.

Cohen, a former senior economist and Nordic desk officer with the International Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, began his professional photography career in 1987 as a stringer for Reuters

He founded the Club's photo committee and chaired it for five years. Many of his photographs can be found on the walls of the Club. Cohen is a member of the U.S. Senate Press Photographers Gallery, the White House News Photographers Association, and the Professional Photographers of America.

The meeting is free and open to all Club members. No reservations are necessary. Lunch will be available at the Reliable Source starting at noon. The program will begin at 12:30 and wrap up around 1:30 p.m.
