Winterbottom is known for his aerial images of local landmarks from vantages unseen from the street, and where drones are not permitted. His work has appeared in Washington area galleries, as well as the Smithsonian’s Photographic History Collection and has been featured in numerous news publications. Winterbottom has taken photos from scaffolds for decades at such sites as the U.S. Supreme Court, the Washington Monument, the U.S. Capitol, the National Archives building downtown, and the Washington National Cathedral.

The meeting will begin with lunch on your own, followed by Winterbottom's presentation and Q&A beginning at 1 p.m. His presentation also will be available via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Remote participants will receive the link after registering.
