Photo Team plans to hear about shooting coronavirus pandemic and Capitol insurrection on March 22

John Harrington, an award-winning photographer and videographer, plans to tell National Press Club members about the lessons he learned covering the COVID-19 pandemic and the Capitol riot at a virtual event with the Photography Team at 1 p.m. Monday, March 22.

The virtual discussion is open to all Club members; The Zoom link will be provided after registration. 

Harrington has been a Washington photographer since 1989. His photos have appeared in Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, and other print magazines, as well as the The New York TimesThe Washington Post, the Associated Press, Reuters, and Agence France Press.

He also produced and directed the documentary short "Warbonnet: An Odyssey of Honor," winner of several film festival honors. He is a former president of the White House News Photographers Association. His book, Best Business Practices for Photographers, is in its third edition.
