Photo Team prepares to show photos about families shown at holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at noon

Join the National Press Club's Photography Team for its annual holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 8, either in-person in the Reliable Source's McLendon Room or online.

In-person attendees start with a self-funded lunch at noon, with the program for in-person and online participants beginning at 12:45 p.m.

The event is free and open to all Club members, but RSVPs are requested for all participants, both in-person and online. Virtual participants will receive the Zoom link in advance of the event. In-person participants are reminded that access to the Club is limited to fully-vaccinated individuals, and face masks are required when visiting the premises, except during meals.

As in previous years, participants are asked to send in a photo on a holiday-related theme. This year, both in-person and virtual participants are asked to send a digital image on the theme of "family" to Photo Team co-chair Alan Kotok at [email protected] by Wednesday, Dec. 1. Photographers can define or interpret the theme of family. The photos are expected to be displayed at the holiday party with participants asked to briefly tell the stories behind them.
