Pub Quiz returns in-person to Club, July 8

After 16 months of sheltering in place, socializing with friends and fellow National Press Club mates over spotty Zoom calls, and struggling with getting bumped out of breakout rooms, the Club’s Pub Quiz will resume live – in person! – in the Truman Lounge starting Thursday, July 8, at 7 p.m.

Over the past year and a half, the novel coronavirus pandemic disrupted many social staples of DC – even permanently canceling events and establishments – but the Pub Quiz carried on in a virtual, online landscape. Despite the spotty disruptions and delays over Zoom, it was a fun experiment, even attracting new regulars. With the return of Pub Quiz inside the Club, players can now meet their teammates in person and enjoy an evening of entertaining trivia over food and drinks. What’s more, prizes are back and teams will receive round prizes in addition to grand prizes for the top three teams.

There’s no need to register via Zoom anymore, but please note: Club members need to register proof of vaccination here and guests of members are required to bring their COVID-19 vaccination card (or negative COVID test) and photo ID.
