Pumpkin carving deadline looms

Don't be haunted by regret about not entering the National Press Club Pumpkin Carving Contest.

Participants can compete in several categories and must email submissions to Director of Membership Engagement Laura Coker [email protected] by 5 p.m. ET, Thursday, Oct 29. 

Pumpkins will be judged in the following categories:

1. News jack-o'-lantern
2. Candidate jack-o'-lantern
3. Most 2020 jack-o'-lantern
4. Creative jack-o'-lantern  

National Press Club Board members will determine the Final Four in each category and those will then be posted to the National Press Club Instagram for final votes by the public. #NPCPumpkin

The results will be revealed on Friday, Oct. 30 – just in time for Halloween!  Winners will receive a delicious NPC Meal Kit planned by Executive Chef Susan Delbert. (Prizes for runners-up, too.)
