Reliable Source announces menu for Cinco de Mayo

The National Press Club's Reliable Source Restaurant is planning the following menu for Cinco de Mayo on Friday, May 5.

Soup

Black bean soup with avocado, and sour cream: Cook w/garlic, red onion, celery, carrot, jalapeno, vegetable stock 

Hors d’ oeuvres 

  • Beef empanadas are served with guacamole and minted tomato salsa. 
  • Chicken tamales with lime sour cream, and Pico de Gallo 
  • Mexican shrimp ceviche  

Entrees 

  • Three cheese and chicken enchiladas with red tomato sauce, sour cream and Pico de Gallo 
  • Cilantro lime bone-in-chicken with rice and beans: Chicken-Marinated w/cilantro, lime, oil, honey, garlic, chili powder
  • Street taco Carne Asada: Flank steak-Carne asada- Marinated w/cilantro, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper  
  • Shrimp Kebob with rice and beans: Shrimp-marinates w/oregano, paprika, cumin, garlic, salt and peppers. 

Sweet 

  • Cinnamon sugar churro with chocolate and raspberry sauce 
  • Caramel flans  

Specialty drinks

  • Palomaesqu cocktail
  • Classic Margaritas
  • Michelada Marias

The traditional Friday Taco Night will also be available.
