Reliable Source plans Election Night dinner service Tuesday

Dinner service will be available 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the National Press Club's Reliable Source restaurant on Tuesday, Nov. 8, Election Night, announced Mesfin Mekonen

This is an added night this week, in addition to the Thursday and Friday night dinner service. Lunch is always available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

If you can't make it to the Club for the meal because of your deadlines, consider take-out, which is still offered – Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The Club and restaurant will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, for the observance of Thanksgiving. But it will be open Friday, Nov. 11, on Veterans Day, with Taco Night starting at 5:30 p.m.

The bar remains open after lunch service until 8 p.m. Dinner service is available Thursdays and Fridays beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Among the featured menu items are entrees such as steak, salmon or shrimp on lemon risotto. Daily sandwiches include crab cake, grilled chicken and a burger with all the trimmings.

Other choices include salmon on Greek salad and certified Angus beef steak served with salad.

Everything is prepared fresh for a reasonable price.
