Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger to address the future of the Republican Party, May 10

Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., will address the future of the Republican Party and other issues facing the nation at a virtual National Press Club Headliners event on on Monday, May 10, at 11 a.m.

The 45-minute-long program will stream live on the Club’s website and YouTube Channel, and is accessible to both the media and members of the general public free-of-charge. Access the event or download a calendar reminder here.

Kinzinger, 43, made headlines for his criticism of former President Trump and his decision to vote in favor of Trump’s second impeachment. He also urged Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., to resign amid a federal probe into allegations of  sex trafficking. Gaetz has denied wrongdoing. Kinzinger has called for remaking the Republican Party with a bigger focus on defense and social issues.
