Reserve now to get a discounted rate for Jan. 11 seminar on covering cybersecurity

National Press Club members can attend a day-long program on covering cybersecurity at discounted price.

The event is scheduled at the club from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, and is sponsored by the University of Maryland University College and The Christian Science Monitor. Sessions include "Organizing for Security," "How Attacks Happen and Why," "Cybersecurity and U.S. National Security," and "How Safe is Critical Infrastructure."

Club members get a discounted entry fee of $50, which includes both a continental breakfast and lunch with a keynote speaker, and a Cybersecurity Institute Certificate of Completion from UMUC. For non-members, the fee is $75. Students are admitted for $25.
